Get to Know April

April Egloff graduated from Michigan State University in 2001 and immediately started her career in the hospitality world as a restaurant manager in the metropolitan Detroit area. In 2005, April made the move to Chicago to pursue a Guest Relations position at the Intercontinental Hotel – Michigan Avenue, a larger role in a much bigger market, which allowed her the opportunity to meet and mingle with all of the Intercontinental VIP and celebrity guests. This awesome opportunity led April into sales, to explore another side of the hotel industry, at the famous, historic Ambassador East Hotel in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago as the Senior Entertainment Sales Manager.

While breaking sales records and developing nationwide relationships in the hospitality industry, April was recruited in 2010 to join the opening team for the Hotel Palomar, a Kimpton Hotel, located just off the Magnificent Mile in the heart of downtown Chicago. She helped position the Hotel Palomar as a top-tier property by leading the sales team with the largest revenue goal at the property in her six years as a Senior Sales Manager.

In 2016, April moved her family to Lake Geneva, WI to a sales position for Lake Lawn Resort. This opportunity to learn the ins and outs of resort management and sales led to three years of breaking resort sales records as the Senior Sales Manager.

April brings a strong work ethic, charismatic personality and passion for building lifelong relationships in the industry, and has three adorable baby girls!
