The NH Collection Copenhagen was first designed by modernist architect Palle Suenson in the 1950s and was initially built as the headquarters of B&W shipyards. Now a listed building, this captivating hotel still reflects the best architectural styles of this period of modernism, including pure forms, straight lines and flat roofs.
In addition, although the hotel has been adjusted to reflect the needs of the modern traveler, this distinctive building still celebrates its past. You’ll find authentic references to the old shipbuilding yard throughout, such as the statement piece of art from local artist Anna Bak at the entrance.
Rooms
Comfort is at the heart of the design in the hotel’s guest rooms and suites. As a result, exquisite and remarkable finishes such as leather headboards and brass accessories come as standard. Most rooms have beautiful views over the harbor or the city, while rooms on the seventh floor have floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a stunning panorama.
Guests can choose from twin, double and king-sized rooms, with premium rooms and suites also available. All rooms have wide-screen TVs and minibars, so it’s easy to enjoy a relaxing night in. Plus, if you’re looking to truly relax, you can unwind in rain-effect shower or bathtub in the suites before you sleep restfully on your super-comfortable mattress. This even comes with a pillow of your choice from the pillow menu.
Meetings & Events
Our hotel is home to 7 meeting and event spaces that can be tailored to suit product presentations, team building days and cocktail parties. The largest of these spaces can comfortably seat 180 guests, while our smallest space fits 12.
Each of our meeting rooms is a creative and inspiring space that contains all the technical equipment a meeting host could ever require, such as screens, projectors and Wi-Fi. If you need help planning your event, our dedicated events team will master every detail. If you like, they can help arrange coffee breaks, meals and cocktails.
If you’re hosting a wedding, they’d also be more than happy to arrange DJs and other special touches.
