The hotel’s 300-year heritage is expressed through original features which have been skillfully retained during its renovation and development. Many of the junior suites and premium rooms are characterized by exposed wooden beams and high, sloping ceilings. Some even have in-room staircases which create an intriguing split-level effect.

Sleek and contemporary, yet steeped in history, the rooms have been expertly renovated to provide true five-star luxury. Each room is equipped for an exceptional night’s sleep. An indulgent rain-effect shower and Nespresso machine will awaken your senses so you can greet each day fresh and ready to explore the city. All rooms include stairs, and like our Premium Rooms, each one differs slightly from the other. If you are traveling in a group, connecting rooms may be the perfect choice.

Meetings & Events

The 15th century chapel, St Olof’s, is the centerpiece of the hotel’s meetings and events facilities.  Amsterdam’s oldest chapel ia a majestic and atmospheric space that can host up to 520 guests, making it ideal for weddings, conferences and formal functions. There are other spacious and versatile meeting rooms too, suitable for everything from office conferences to family parties.

Dining

The daily breakfast buffet is a mouth-watering spread of dishes with a local flavor as well as international favorites. The Restaurant Vermeer is our eatery, where chef Sebastian Baquero Garces’s exquisite dishes, created using seasonal produce sourced from the hotel’s roof garden, are perfectly complemented by the selections of our sommelier. Enjoy an evening drink or afternoon coffee at Bar Bottles & Jars, which also serves light snacks and is open late.
