Teneo Hospitality & the Aslanian family are sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship award that will be given to a student that is participating in a 4-year hospitality program at any college or university within the United States of America. One participant will be selected by the Scholarship committee. All submissions are due by September 1st, 2024 & Teneo will announce the winner for the upcoming fall semester on October 1st, 2024.
At the heart of Tony Aslanian was a born leader someone who led his personal and professional life with kindness, humility, and positivity. As a leader, Tony’s greatest strength was mentoring sales and marketing professionals as well as his creativity in solving challenges. With a 38-year career in the hospitality industry, Tony touched the lives of many people, especially those who consider him a mentor. Tony has a deep passion for our industry, it is something that he loved and cherished.
Tony liked nothing more than to walk into a hotel in which he had never been and have an opportunity to experience it. He also couldn’t wait to meet those that ran the hotel and those in the sales departments and start thinking of ways to improve revenues. Tony’s passion was unyielding. He carried himself with such a level of friendliness and authenticity that those that met Tony would never forget.
With Tony’s exemplary leadership qualities it is appropriate that the recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate the following:
