Originally opened as The Statler Hotel by hotel legend, EM Statler, in 1927, Boston Park Plaza recently completed a multi-year, $100 million renovation and restoration project. The extensive transformation included the hotel’s 1,060 guestrooms, main entrances and lobby, meeting spaces, and ballrooms, the addition of the library and vibrant lobby lounge and restaurant, Off the Common. Boston’s largest independent hotel pairs top-notch hospitality, world-class dining and high-end fitness amenities with the modern comforts and conveniences that today’s travelers have come to expect, all the while offering a uniquely Boston feel.
Featuring more than 55,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, Boston Park Plaza is the city’s premier location for a special event. Each of the hotel’s event spaces was renovated as part of the recent $100 million renovation and restoration project, and the hotel has received a number of meeting accolades, including a 2019 Stella Award for the Best Hotel/Resort, Northeast.

Most event spaces feature natural light and from a traditional look to an industrial chic space, the hotel offers a variety of spaces to accommodate any style of event.
Avenue 34. Boston Park Plaza, the city’s premier location for meetings and special events, debuts Avenue 34, a chic event space with an urban industrial feeling. Featuring more than 7,000 square feet of space, Avenue 34 offers a uniquely sophisticated urban experience, as a counterpoint to the existing 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space at the hotel. Avenue 34 offers a city vibe that features exposed beams and ductwork, tasteful industrial finishes and urban inspired artwork. Large floor-to-ceiling windows bring the cityscape into the experience and fill the space with natural light. Avenue 34 can be utilized in its entirety or divided into three distinct areas, as well as ample pre-function space. The Studio 1, Studio 2 and The Loft spaces are ideal for break out rooms, and range in size from 1,650 square feet to almost 1,900 square feet. In addition, Avenue 34 features its own entrance, allowing the space to afford privacy and exclusivity for groups, weddings or special events.
