A little bit about Jamie
Jamie Bruce serves as the President of Teneo Hospitality Group, where he oversees the organization’s strategic direction and drives key growth initiatives. Teneo Hospitality Group specializes in connecting meeting professionals with more than 350 independent and iconic branded lifestyle and luxury hotels worldwide. Teneo’s impressive portfolio includes renowned properties like The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and the 1 Hotels brand.
Since joining Teneo in 2022 as Senior Vice President, Jamie has been an integral part of the leadership team bringing strategic clarity and a collaborative approach. He has played a pivotal role in enhancing services and elevating performance across sales, marketing, and client relationships. In December 2024, he was promoted to President, where his leadership continues to shape Teneo’s future and expand its reach in the hospitality industry.
As an accomplished hospitality executive for more than 35 years, his expertise in sales, marketing, and commercial strategy, along with his deep understanding of leading luxury independent hotels and resorts, will be a tremendous asset to Teneo’s member hotels and clients alike.
Prior to joining Teneo, Jamie was Vice President with Tavistock Development Company, heading up the Tavistock Hotel Collection and the hotel operations division portfolio of eight operating assets and several new hotel development projects.
Jamie has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most respected hospitality brands, including Kerzner International, One&Only Resorts, Hyatt, Hilton, and KSL Resorts. His executive experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Sales & Revenue Management at Atlantis Paradise Island and Vice President of Sales & Marketing at renowned properties such as Trump National Doral, Grand Wailea Resort, and Doral Golf Resort. Jamie also led strategic growth and revenue performance as Senior Commercial Director of Luxury Sales with Hilton, overseeing the Waldorf Astoria and Conrad portfolio of hotels across the Americas. In every role, he has consistently developed innovative strategies to enhance brand presence and drive exceptional commercial success.
A graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Hospitality Management, Jamie began his career with Hyatt Hotels in sales and marketing roles in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Hawaii. His passion for hospitality has driven a lifelong commitment to excellence, making him an invaluable leader for Teneo and its global community of member hotels and clients.
