Get to Know Sofija

Prior to joining Teneo, Sofija spent 7 years as a Senior Sales Coordinator at Krisam Group New York where she facilitated the placement of hotel group business and was also the liaison for Global Events Partners (DMC). In addition, she also served as an Event Coordinator for the four annual events hosted by the New York team and oversaw the company’s support staff. In this role, Sofija helped exceed sales goals, forged key relationships with meeting planners, hotel and DMC partners, and also gained a broad knowledge of the hospitality industry. Her sales experience, paired with her strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail, is an asset in her current role at Teneo. As Teneo’s Vice President, Membership & Administration, Sofija is the primary liaison for the company’s hotel and DMC members, and is also responsible for the overall management of Teneo’s internal operating systems. A native of New Jersey, Sofija graduated from Hofstra University in New York and is fluent in English, French and Serbian.
