Two Teneo Leaders Honored by Smart Meetings
Teneo ended 2025 with two additional reasons to celebrate: Smart Meetings named two from our sales team as winners of the annual Catalyst Awards’ Kinetic Award – Marieke Franz and Gary Murakami.
The Catalyst Awards, per its site, “celebrate the visionaries, innovators and connectors who embody the best of the meetings and hospitality industry.” In addition to being sales leaders, these individuals are recognized for their ability to uplift their teams and strengthen the communities and networks they serve.
The Kinetic Awards, a separate category under the Catalyst Awards, further acknowledges the role leaders like Marieke and Gary played advancing the industry forward by using their energy and knowledge to create “meaningful change for guests and foster lasting memories.”
Marieke, a Director of Global Sales, and Gary Murakami, Teneo’s VP, Global Sales & Industry Relations, were both nominated by their peers for the Kinetic Award, with the final decision up to the team at Smart Meetings.
