Get to Know Mike

Mike has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in sales leadership. He was a former Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Hilton Hotels. Over the past four years, Mike has developed a successful consulting business focused on improving performance for a wide variety of independent and branded hotels and resorts. He has also developed a digital marketing platform. 

Critical to this business development process has been training and managing sales teams and evaluating the sales and marketing efforts of his clients. Mike was named the Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year with Hilton Hotels- 1998. Prior, Mike held various sales and operations positions with Marriott Hotels Corporation and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Mike Schugt is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Additionally, Mike is fluent in Spanish and German.
