To step into Caribe Royale Orlando is to travel to the glory days of 1950s Florida with palm trees, poolside cocktails, and pink flamingos, minus the kitsch. And sometimes, the flamingos are real.
“At one event, we had live flamingos transported from Miami,” recalls Laura Hartmann, Caribe’s Director of Event & Catering Experience. The flamingos roamed the grounds while attendees snapped photos and mingled. As entertainment, “I had an entire synchronized swimming show in the pool — something fun and nostalgic with a summer twist.”
Introducing that “twist” into an event is what Laura and her team at Caribe Royale Orlando excel at, and it’s at the root of the resort’s new tagline, “Color Outside the Lines.”
“We’re being told to dream big, and every time we do it, it’s encouraged, allowing us to really expand and get creative. We’re constantly bouncing quirky, fun, eccentric ideas off one another” says Laura. Break the Rules, But Don’t Forget the Basics
Caribe Royale Orlando is among the largest meeting venues in the area, boasting more than 240,000 SF of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space with three ballrooms, including the 50,000 SF Palms Ballroom, The Grove — a 19,000 SF event lawn capable of hosting plated meals — 58 meeting rooms, and three executive boardrooms. Following a three-year, $160 million reimagination completed in 2024 of the resort’s event lobby, pool area, sports courts, and restaurants, they’ve begun accepting groups for Q1 2026 and later for the new Coral Ballroom, which will add a further 20,000 SF of meeting space and breakout room that can be divided into five sections. All told, the resort can fit groups up to 3,000 attendees with ease.

Of the eight on-site dining options, the AAA Four Diamond-rated Venetian Chop House and the newly opened interactive Stadium Club are popular for team dinners and group activations. For a fun take on team building, try Stadium Club’s immersive sports simulations of 13 different games like golf, baseball, football, and even zombie dodgeball! Stadium Club’s full 360-degree screens also provide great branding opportunities for added value. Those craving the real deal can enjoy Caribe Royale’s pickleball courts, 1.5-mile jogging trail, and catch-and-release fishing.
