Get to Know Cheri

From small luxury independent hotels to large Resort and Convention properties, Cheri has done it all. Before joining Teneo, Cheri spent 8 years as Associate Director of Sales at Caesars Entertainment. In addition to helping to lead the East Coast Team, Cheri was responsible for the National sales of 9 Las Vegas properties, with over 1 million square feet of meeting space, and 3 Atlantic City properties for the Virginia, DC and Maryland market. Prior to her tenure with Caesars, Cheri was a Director of Sales & Marketing with Crestline Hotels & Resorts and the Kessler Collection. She has opened properties, lead renovation sales teams and built new markets up and down the East Coast.

Cheri has a natural ability for building relationships, uncovering needs, navigating contracts, revenue management and account development. She is passionate about the Meetings & Events industry and serves on the boards for MPI Potomac and PCMA Capital chapter. She can often be found speaking at industry events or facilitating a CMP Prep course. When not advocating for the industry, Cheri enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with Maryland Therapeutic Riding, fostering dogs, hiking, running, doing yoga and settling in with a good book by the water.
